Safety Operation Stand: Allows safe mounting of specimens onto your holder.
Did you experience the dissapointment to realise your TEM holder is no longer straight? (Please see left)

The "Safety Operation Stand" will protect your TEM holder from accidents. It will also support mounting specimens to prevent damage to your precious sample.

Your experiment success ratio will increase by using this system.

You can always work with stable conditions thanks to the 4 feets with individual height adjustment feature.

Key point 1: Includes a support arm to ensure perpendicular use of the fixation tool.

The support arm ensures perpendicular use of the Hex Ring fixation tool.
 (Hex tool (GATAN TM) for mounting the Specimen clamp ring)

The Hex Ring is mounted straight to avoid damage to the thread. Without the support arm we provide with this system there is always a risk for damage to the hex ring as well as the thread on the specimen holder.

Your sample is always mounted correct.

Key point 2: Original design Torque control driver


The mini Jack is located below the cradle of your TEMholder.

This device supports the TEM holder and reduce the risk of holder bending accidents.

The tip of the TEM Holder is supported and kept stable, a specimen can be mounted easily and safe.

The Mini jack has a fine height adjustment for allowing various TEM holders to be used.
Torqe control driver and palm rest
The hex tool delivered with your holder can be attached easily to the torque driver included in the package.
(A hex tool is not contained in the package.)

This Torque driver is our original design and offer these 2 important features.
 1.Force of rotation when fixing the hex ring onto the holder is limited.
 2.Force in vertical direction when pushing the torque driver is limited.
 The risk of damaging the specimen holder while mounting a hex ring is much reduced with these features.

Prevent accidents causing damage to your holder by using this tool. (Our original design Torque driver is also available separately from this package)

Palm rest


Palm Rest to support your TEMhand is attached (to even further reduce accident risk) to the Safety Operation Stand.

Since the Palm rest may rotate, you will surely find a place to work with ease.

The palm rest reduces the risk to apply excessive force, ergonomic and safe!

Release button

The "Safety Operation Stand" supports your work until the end! It also includes a release mechanism.

When your specimen is mounted just push the release button to separate the holder from the stand with minimum force to delicate parts of the holder.
