Double tilt LN2 Vacuum Transfer Holder

Q:How long does it take for the temperature to stabilize after cooling begins?
A:It takes about 1 to 1.5 hours.

Q: How long does the cooling last?
A:Approximately 2 hours.

Q:What is the minimum achievable temperature?
A:Approximately -170°C (at the tip)

Q:How is a vacuum maintained inside the holder during observation?
A:A vacuum is created by using the pumps of the TEM or the vacuum station, drawi          ng vacuum from the opening at the tip of the holder. The dewar section is also e         vacuated using the TEM or the vacuum station pumps.

Q:How long does it take for the image to stabilize after changing the temperature?
A:Approximately 1 hour

Q:How should the tip be cleaned?
A:Gently wipe it using a cotton swab soaked in ethanol.

Q:Can the orientation of the Tilt connector be changed?
A:The connector orientation cannot be changed. Rotating it may affect the atmos
    phere-isolation function.

Q:Can the position of the Tilt connector be changed?
A:The position of the connector cannot be changed. Modifying it may affect the at
    mosphere-isolation function.

Q:What is the settable temperature range of the holder?
A:The temperature range is from about -110°C to achievable temperatures (about -
    170°C).

Q:Is it possible to perform measurements at around -50°C?
A:Technically it is possible, but liquid nitrogen tends to boil vigorously at this tem
perature, making heat transfer and vibration unstable. Therefore, it is not suitab
    le as a measurement environment.

Q:What is the recommended tightening torque for the specimen retainer screw?
A:1 c·Nm (centi-Newton meter).

Q:Are there any shortcut keys for the double tilt software?
A:No, there are none by default. However, users can configure their own custom s
    hortcuts.
